Dr. Shivani Chaturvedi maternity clinic is doing a great job of helping women during pregnancy and when giving birth. They do a wonderful job through their field work in rural areas by educating people in their teenage years about their bodies and mind.
We were happy to visit this maternity clinic and learn about the great steps Dr. Shivani and her staff are taking to ensure education and health to the public of Agra. One important lesson learned from Dr. Shivani is that we must give equal sexual and education about our bodies to both men and women. Often times the focus is given to empower women and men can be forgotten. This is a valuable point made that we here at the Foundation will try to implement in our work in the future. It was very special to meet two babies, one that was just two days old and one that was three days old. We were privileged to see their operating room, even though small it was very functional. We feel very grateful to have been given the chance to see this clinic and gain knowledge.
