Expanding Outreach:
Our commitment to reaching underserved communities remains strong. Through medical camps and outreach programs, we are bringing vital healthcare services to those who need them most. We recently held a successful medical camp at Kimuka Primary School, and we are excited to share that 370 individuals received essential medical care during the event.
Maternity Section Milestones:
Ensuring safe and healthy childbirth experiences is at the heart of our maternity section. In the first half of the year, we facilitated 46 deliveries, providing mothers with the care they deserve. We also want to emphasize the incredible impact of the NeoPuff machine, which we acquired in March. This advanced equipment has already saved the lives of two newborns. We are immensely proud of the positive outcomes we are achieving with this significant investment.
Antenatal Support:
Our antenatal section continues to support expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy journey. We welcomed 17 new patients, providing comprehensive care and guidance. Additionally, our repeat patients reached a total of 85, showing the trust they place in our dedicated team.
New Equipment, Better Care:
We are always striving to improve our services and facilities. The addition of a modern delivery bed has transformed the birthing experience, ensuring comfort for mothers while reducing the risk of infections. This investment reflects our commitment to providing the highest quality care possible.
Patients Overview:
In the first two quarters of the year, Kenswed Hospital served a total of 2,226 patients. We are humbled by the trust our community places in us. The income generated during this period enabled us to sustain and expand our services.
