We have been growing potatoes in a little larger scale lately at Home of Hope in Nepal. This weekend our house parents with all Home of Hope children harvested the potatoes that have grown really large and there were so many! Feeling very happy about this, more food for our children and they will also be able to sell some and get income for miscellaneous cost that may occur. We will continue to also grow onions and garlic in bigger scale as well. Mini steps towards more self-sufficiency which I think is good since being total dependent is not good in the long run. Many thanks to Mr. Magesh Ramadoss at Partex India for helping with entrepreneurial management support and great work by housefather Shyam and all Home of Hope family – feeling very proud of you!
