SELF SUFFICIENCY AT HOME OF HOPE 🌱🐓🍅
Recently Home of Hope added more hens to their chicken house, adding to a total of 20 hens now. They did this to increase the number of eggs it produces each day. It is great that they are able to get chickens eggs, but also duck eggs from the two ducks they have.
The greenhouse continues to be a great source of nutrition as they are now able to harvest ripe tomatoes. In a couple of weeks, they will be able to harvest beans! It has been such a great learning experience for the children of Home of Hope to raise and grow their own food in their backyard. They get to learn and teach each other, as well as help out hands on!
