LÖÖF FOUNDATIONS 14TH TRIP TO NEPAL & GREENHOUSE REBUILD
It is great to see that the rebuilding process of the greenhouse has begun! They have built it higher on the ground to keep out excess water in the rainy season. The frames of the greenhouse have started to be installed as they have secured them with rocks and cement in the ground. Thank you to everyone who donated towards the greenhouse to make it possible to rebuild! We travel to Nepal for our 14th trip tomorrow, joined together with nurse and midwife Monica Hellström from Gnosjoglobal Association and her nurse friend Anna.
While in Nepal we will oversee the rest of the building process of the greenhouse, introduce new donated seeds to plant, continue with the sponsorship program, check on the Home of Hope children and hold a women’s gynecology health camp. We are bringing nurses and doctors from Kathmandu to hold a 2-day gynecology health camp for the women of Ratankot village, as well as the older schoolgirls of Ratankot.
It feels great to return to Nepal with Monica for our third joint trip. It will be wonderful to see the new four children settling into Home of Hope that came last month and to get to know them better! Stay tuned for updates from Nepal next week!
