Charity concert with Måns & Carola on March 30, 2019
CHARITY CONCERT WAS A SUCCESS!
It was so wonderful to have Carola and Måns perform at our charity gala in Mariestad this past Saturday, March 30. Our goal for the concert was to raise SEK 283 500. Amazingly with so many generous donations made by so many we were able to raise SEK 287,600 in total! Now we will be able to finish the building of the maternity and health clinic in Kenya that we are building together with the Zelmerlöw & Björkman Foundation and Rejlers.
We felt so happy and honored to see so many people attend the concert to support our project. It felt especially nice to know that many people traveled far and wide just to attend the concert. A BIG thank you to Carola (Official), Måns Zelmerlöw, Sebastian Tadros, and Nira Hindocha for taking time out of your busy schedules to come and support us, play beautiful music and entertain! Shout out to all of our wonderful volunteers who helped during the night to make everything run smoothly! A big big thank you to all of our sponsors for the event, without you the night would not have been possible!
What an amazing night it was to present our project with a film at the beginning of the evening, followed by DJ Hindocha and Sebastian Tadros. Måns entered the stage next and began with the song “Fire”. Carola started her show by performing the song “Evighet” and many more songs!
We feel so excited, happy, grateful and overjoyed to know that our maternity and health center will now be able to open in the coming months. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to everyone!!!!!
