FIRST DAY IN HOME OF HOPE
I feel honored and happy to be a part of the Lööf team and make any contribution that I can. I hope I can make a difference to the children in some way while I’m here, and I feel that this trip has already and will make a huge impact on my life. I feel inspired already, I want to do more, and make many changes in my life back home.
I got to know the Lööf Foundation on a beach in the Maldives, where I met Sophie Lööf. I went up to her and invited her to dinner. From there we became best friends and couldn’t stop talking! Sophie gave me to the book “Dreams of an Orphanage” and spoke about their projects in South Africa. We kept in contact, and visited each other and now we are together in Nepal.
Before coming to Nepal I asked how I could contribute. I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated to me, I couldn’t have anticipated how much I would receive and it’s amazing to see how much I have been able to get! Thank you to Darren, Paula, Sandra, Michael and Alison!! You have made it possible for me to buy a puppy pug for Home of Hope, medical supplies, medicine, microwave, sanitary pads, a crib, diapers, baby wipes, tooth brushes, tooth paste and a few food items.
During this trip I will be helping improve the children’s English, teach the children how to train and care for the new puppy and cuddles!!
