Masks for Ratankot school in Nepal
We wanted to extend a very warm thank you to Monica Hellström for donating to us. In Nepal, our housefather Shyam from Home of Hope has now put the donation to very good use. The first thing he purchased was winter clothing for many of the Home of Hope children.
The second half of the donation he spent on reusable masks for the school children. The Ratankot school has just reopened a week ago. All of the children are required to wear a mask. However, not all children had masks, nor could all families afford masks for their children. Now Shyam has purchased two masks per child, in case they lose one. He has also bought the school water jugs with taps so that the children and teachers can wash their hands in the classroom to promote better hygiene.
