The schools in Ratankot in Nepal have now reopened for our Home of Hope children. The school for our older children in grade 10 started last week, while the school for our younger children has recently just opened again. All school children must wear a mask to school. We feel very happy for our children that they have the opportunity to return to school again and learn as they are familiar with. While the schools have been closed, our great housemother Asha and housefather Shyam have been homeschooling all of the children for 3 hours every day.

For our older child Anita, she has just been accepted and enrolled into a nursing program in the next village. We are so happy and excited that she got accepted and will follow her life dream to become a nurse! She will start school in the coming weeks. For our two older children Binita and Preeti who attend secondary school in Kathmandu, they will be writing their grade 11 final exams next week. We wish them all the luck on their upcoming exams!
