To every one of you who contributed towards Durga’s surgery, we are pleased to be able to announce that Durga underwent surgery yesterday! The doctors reported that the surgery went well, with no complications. Today they were changing the bandages and pads. Durga is still very tired and groggy but awake today and doing well!
Her husband was nervous before the surgery, but now he says he is very happy for her now that everything has gone well! The doctors have advised Durga and her husband that she must take it easy, rest and not work hard during recovery.
From the donations we received, we have been able to buy new underwear, pads and bed gowns for Durga post-surgery. This surgery is life changing for Durga and her family, as this operation will reduce illness and pain in her daily life. THANK YOU ever so much to everyone who donated to Durga!
