HEADING TO POLAND TO VISIT THE YOUNG FOREST
I am so excited to be traveling to Poland today where I will visit the Young Forest. It is a family home for children who come from unstable homes and have special needs. We have previously visited them and supported them with sports equipment, toys and bed linen. They are run by the local government which only provides the essentials. I have a suitcase filled to the brim with many clothes, teddy bears, pencils and pens!
While there I will help to teach them English, hold workshops surrounding the topics of gender equality, self-love and women’s rights. I’m looking forward to meeting all of kids, getting to know them better and see how I can help further!
