BACK TO PROJECT
WORK CONTINUES ON MATERNITY AND HEALTH CENTER IN KENYA THANKS TO DONATIONS!
On March 30, we held a charity concert in Mariestad where Carola, Måns Zelmerlöw, Sebastian Tadros and Nira Hindocha performed. Amazingly we were able to raised SEK 287 600:- during the night! We are so happy to say the generous money donated has already been put to good use in the maternity and health clinic in Kenya. They have been able to paint the first coat on the inside walls and will begin painting the outside walls next week. The tiling for the floors has been put into place and they have started working on the plumbing in the bathrooms.
We feel overjoyed that the maternity and health center moves forward, as this means we are getting closer to an opening date. This maternity and health center will provide great medical care, education and care to the Kenyan people. We owe so much THANKS to everyone who participated in the concert, contributed and donated. Without you, our clinic would not be where it is today.
