SCHOOL LUNCH IN RATANKOT
Today was such a rewarding day! Lööf Foundation provided the Ratankot school children and teachers with a healthy lunch. At the Ratankot school the children do not eat lunch, and for some children this may have been the biggest meal they eat all day. We had hard boiled eggs, pan bread, bean and lentils, and cooked potatoes with spices. We hired a local villager to cook the lunch, so that they could earn a small profit. The children had the biggest smiles and were very happy to have lunch for the day!
After a good lunch we ran around the school yard playing tag and then a game of “Stella Ella Olla”. It was heart warming to see the smiles on the kids faces when we handed out plates and while they ate, and so much fun to run around and play with them!
