Morgan’s Diary – April 28, 2017
Today I had the great pleasure of visiting Henrik, a Partex employee, at his home. During my next trip to Nepal in May I will be helping to build a “Home of chickens” at Home of Hope. This will provide eggs and meat for the children, which is a great protein source! I have never built a chicken house before or am knowledgeable in this area. Therefore, I wanted to visit Henrik’s chicken house so that I could get some inspiration and information.
I learned a lot more about chickens today and about how to construct a proper chicken house. I cannot wait to get back to Nepal and start this project!
A big thank you to Henrik and his wife for educating me today and for letting me into your chicken house! I feel much more confident about helping to build a chicken house at Home of Hope now!
