Lööf Foundation Lion Lagoon enclosure completed!
Lööf Foundation is happy to announce that the Lööf Foundation Lion Lagoon enclosure at the Love Lions Alive Project on Appin Farm in South Africa is now complete! This beautiful and spacious enclosure will be home to two lions, Mandla and Sibindi, who are two male brothers, both 18 months old. One of the lions was saved from a shoot and drop, while the other was saved from being bred for hunting. The enclosure is two hectares large with plenty of rocks, trees for shade and water. As well a beautiful view overlooking the rest of the sanctuary!
Lööf Foundation would like to extend a huge thank you to the team from Drakensburg Gate and Fencing for putting up the electric fences that surround the enclosure, as well as Andi Rive and her great team for their hard work in helping to complete the enclosure. Lööf Foundation looks forward to traveling back during Mid-July for the inauguration of the Lööf Foundation Lion Lagoon enclosure!
