UN goal #8 – Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.

Through our ongoing projects in Nepal, Home of Hope and Martin Lundstedt’s technical workshop at the Ratankot school, we have been able to provide full and part-time employment for these five individuals. We have employed our housemother Asha Lama and housefather Shyam Lama full-time to run Home of Hope and look after our Home of Hope children. When they take their well-deserved days off each month, we have employed Resmila to look after the children.

With our newest project, Martin Lundstedt’s technical workshop that we created during November 2017, we have employed a sewing teacher, Rupa and a wood working teacher Lapa to teach the school children valuable education in tailoring and wood working. We are so happy to be able to create sustainable, worthwhile employment for these people living in the Ratankot village in Nepal.
