Today the Swedish newspaper MariestadsTidningen has written about the 50th birthday gift we finally had the great pleasure of handing over to Martin Lundstedt! Martin Lundstedt is the board director of the family business Partex and CEO of Volvo worldwide. In honour of his 50th birthday, Lööf Foundation, Partex and the Lööf family collectively gave him the present of a technical workshop in the Ratankot school near Home of Hope in Nepal. The school children now have the opportunity to learn skills in wood working and sewing! During our 11th trip to Nepal, we created and made the workshop at the school. In just a few short days, the children had already made small stools and pillows! We were so happy to see that Martin felt touched by the classroom, and that he is a great inspiration for the young children at the Ratankot school. Our hope is that the skills gained in this technical workshop will help the children be as successful as Martin!
